The September issue of Deer and Deer Hunting magazine has been out for a few weeks now, so I need to tell you about my latest article. My great young friend Brandon Hartenstine agreed to let me use him as a model, so I went to his house and did a little coaching (mostly on how I wanted him to stand for some photos). Brandon is the younger son of Scott and Lorie Hartenstine, and the younger brother of Penn State student Austin.

What you see at left is the result. Check out Brandon's photo, and check out the September issue too. Even if you don't have any problems with "Buck Fever," you might be able to help a youngster out or an adult who is new to deer hunting. The article gives 6 ways the new hunter without experience (young or old) can simulate shooting at a buck without letting nerves get the best of him.
