With the popularity of social media and the wide and rapid dissemination of information through the Internet, writers attempt to link one thing to another — things that maybe aren't related at all — to gain online traffic. Some have linked the fact that less driving curing the COVID-19 pandemic has somehow been an unintended act of conservation.
