Buck Assaults Food Plot Provider (from DDH)

Writer: Steve Sorensen Steve Sorensen

If you think no good deed goes unpunished, Rick Maverick will probably agree with you. Rick lives in Western Pennsylvania, and owns property where he provides for wildlife by planting unharvested crop fields.

You might have read my story about a Georgia man who was knocked off his lawn tractor by a buck, posted here. Apparently, that wasn't a one-time freak accident. A couple of months ago Maverick was mowing next to a cornfield and a buck jumped out and ran him over while he was mowing, and sent him to the hospital. You can read about it in my article, "Buck Assaults Food Plot Provider," at Deer & Deer Hunting Online, posted on October 26, 2020.
