If you're not carrying a binocular while hunting, you're missing something. I don't know what for sure, but I am sure that binoculars will enable you to see more, and that means seeing more game.
I've carried them long enough that a little extra weight and a little extra bulk is nothing compared to the advantage of having a tool that improves vision at a distance and resolves detail far better than the best human eyesight ever will.
This week's column in the Jamestown Gazette, "4 Reasons You Should Use a Binocular," offers reasons hunters should all carry — and use — a binocular. The bottom line is that you will definitely see more through them.
