Questions People Didn't Ask about Cecil the Lion

Cecil, the Zimbabwean lion killed a few years ago, has been back in the news a bit lately, so I'm taking this opportunity to present a column I wrote in 2015 which was never posted on my blog. It was, however, picked up by several newspapers I don't normally write for, one of them being the PennLive.com site, part of the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

It was originally titled "Questions Prompted by Cecil's Demise," but PennLive titled it "Well-managed, Regulated Hunting Plays a Vital role in Wildlife Conservation." Check it out.
