Tips on Turkey Hunting — #1: WHAT KILLS UNKILLABLE GOBBLERS?

Two or three times each week from now until mid-May, I’ll post some tips about spring gobbler hunting. I’m not the best turkey hunter around, but I’ll share what I know. It might be helpful to those who pursue our greatest game bird.

Turkey hunting sure has changed, especially for anyone who began hunting in the 1960's or earlier. Patience. It’s what kills unkillable birds.

Watch for more “Tips on Turkey Hunting” two or three times each week until mid-May. I don’t claim to be the best turkey hunter around, but I’ll share what I know. It might be helpful to those who pursue our greatest game bird.

While you're at it, check out my gobbler-killin' Northern Scratchbox turkey call at www.EverydayHunter.com/turkey-call. It's full of deadly sounds.
