I hear you screaming, "Someone is wrong on the Internet!"

Although most 21st century Americans do not hunt, hunting has been necessary for almost 100% of human history. It's only the current generation that has more than a few opponents of hunting. Throughout previous history, it's hard to imagine anyone opposing hunting.

This blog addresses various aspects of hunting (including its proper role in our culture and the science of wildlife management) and seeks to offer insights on the theology of hunting. It is pro-hunting, but also pro-Christianity and pro-gospel. As things stand now, the public will not be able to comment. It's not because I don't want to hear from others, but because...

  • I won't have time to control that content. (Sorry, I'm not a control freak, but it's my blog, so you don't have freedom of speech here. You have freedom of speech on your blog. Don't have a blog? Not my problem.)

  • I don't want to spend the energy to moderate hostilities. (Peace out, folks.)

  • I won't be productive if I feel compelled to address all the points of view others may feel compelled to offer. (Again, feel free to start your own blog.)

In other words, those who think someone is wrong on the Internet, and are compelled to correct that person, and are compelled to think that "someone" is me, will not have a voice here. (If you want to argue, feel free to happily Peep away on the Book of Faces, or whatever.)
